Summer is finally here and I don’t know about you but I am so so so excited for the summer of 2016 and what it has in store for me! No more school! No more waking up at 6am! No more homework! #freedomatlast And I thought what better way to start off the summer on my blog than to share with you my favorite african islands that I one day hope to travel to. If all goes well you may even see me in one of these places by the end of this summer, hopefully (fingers crossed).
Coming from an African background I have travelled to the continent dozens of times manly to see family and friends in Zimbabwe and South Africa. What many people don’t know about the continent is that it has some of the most amazingly beautiful and luxurious islands the world has ever seen! And being the blogger that I am I have decided to write this post to give you all an insight into my favorite african islands and to give u the best of the best on where to stay and how to spend your time in some of the worlds best islands.
Mauritius – Mauritius is arguably Africa’s wealthiest destination, a tropical paradise with lots to do. My brother recently travelled to Mauritius himself and he said that it was one of the best vacations he has ever been on. With everything from the culture, the food, the scenery, the people and the endless activities the island has to offer you’ll never be bored in Mauritius! Trust me it didn’t make it into my favorites for nothing!
